The money came for TRAPDOOR on debut and he made no mistake winning by 2 and a half lengths at Geelong at the start of the month. He can improve again off the back of that initial experience and is well placed to make it a perfect 2-2. Bronte Beach looks the obvious danger.

Race 8 Sandown 8.05 Tonkin (best price 11/8)
With 3 wins from 4 starts TONKIN was progressive when last seen and given she fires when fresh I expect her to make a winning return here. She has tons more to come and is definitely one to keep firmly on side. Deepfloat Diva is a good yardstick and is the main threat.
