NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 1 AT HAMILTON ON TUESDAY MORNING!
Race 1 Hamilton 2.40 Annunciate (4/5)
Talented sort who can mix it both on the Flat and over hurdles; only edged out late on last time and back over timber now looks to have a leading chance especially in this company; one to keep safe.
It’s hard to look past ANNUNCIATE here as he will be ridden forward and should take a lot of beating if getting into a rhythm. His best form is stacks above these so it’s no surprise to see him short in the market and I fully expect him to justify favouritism. Ablestock might also go forward but he ran a stinker last time and has enough to prove off the back of that for the time being. Thunder Cloud may emerge as the main danger as he is entitled to improve back in a maiden hurdle. Fairlight is best of the rest but still might need a bit more experience to be seen to best effect. It’s 16/1 bar those mentioned so hard to see anything else getting involved as they just don’t look good enough right now.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 1 AT SCONE OVERNIGHT!
Race 1 Scone 3.45 Galaxy Belle (15/8)
Promising filly who ran a cracker back from six months off the track to finish second over shorter here last time; sure to improve again and looks well placed to go one better now and make the breakthrough.
We head to Scone overnight for our second best bet and GALAXY BELLE looks poised to strike. This filly has gradually improved and with further progression likely now given that was her first start after six months last time she can make the breakthrough at the sixth attempt. Sir Bawn has been running well and only went down narrowly last time. That sort of form gives him a good chance again but I just think the fav has the greater potential and is unexposed in comparison having had half as many starts. More Oomph has been thereabouts but looks vulnerable for win purposes. Reach Beyond might be capable of better and is probably the value to hit the frame.
