Useful mare who won a trial easily and then bumped into one on first start for 5 months when second at Eagle Farm earlier this month; open to further improvement and looks set to take plenty of beating in an easier race.
The Aussie NAP landed overnight and we head to Ipswich on Wednesday in search of another winner. The likeable BETTER GET SET can win again. She caught the eye back from a break when second at Eagle Farm and with further progression should be too good for these from a rail draw. She has won at this track already and is getting better. Elenara is respected on exposed form and comes here with a win at Sunshine Coast to her name. She could be the danger if running to that sort of level again but she can be rather hit and miss at times. Lady Magnus has 5 wins from 38 starts and will also make her presence felt if producing the sort of form that saw her win on penultimate start.

Race 7 Geraldton 10.35 Mystery Man (11/8)
Improving sort who ran well when second at Northam on penultimate start; excuses at Belmont last time and these calmer waters so big chance of getting his head back in front; looks worth keeping safe against these.
I think they’re expecting a big run from MYSTERY MAN at Geraldton on Wednesday. This horse is getting better and that form when he went close at Northam would see him have too much for these. He had excuses at Belmont last time but that looked a strong race and if he is back to his best here in less taxing company he will have too much for these rivals. Perfect Harmony has proved a little frustrating with just the 1 win from 15 starts now. She has the ability to get competitive here but needs to better that Ascot form last time. Warm ‘N’ Fuzzy is unexposed and might be a greater danger if improving on recent efforts. Sly As A Fox looks the value for a place as he also has more to come.
