Race 5 Gosford 6.25 Lady Of Luxury (1/1)
Likeable mare who has held her form well since winning at Wyong in August beaten just 2 lengths into third next time and then a good second at Rosehill latest; this easier so hard to oppose and should be winning.
The Aussie NAP landed again overnight so we’re now chasing a hat-trick on Thursday! We head to Gosford where decent yardstick LADY OF LUXURY deserves to get back in the winners enclosure. Her form is as good as any on offer here and with 2 seconds from 3 attempts over this trip she looks set to go one better now. Sweet Ruby is unexposed but she was disappointing to some extent at Newcastle and didn’t exactly convince at Rosehill before that so she’ll need to bounce back. If she does she will give the fav a race but might still come up short. Rahni Factor ran well when second here last time and if she builds on that she shouldn’t be too far away either.

Race 4 Rockhampton 6.34 Mocial Chief (7/4)
Tough and honest sort who has 4 wins to his name and saluted the judge again here last time; 2 from 4 at this track now so clearly acts well here and with potential to do better over this trip should be hard to beat again.
The speedy MOCIAL CHIEF can make all the running here under Chris Whiteley. He should get away quick from an inside gate and might always be dictating. He loves this track with 2 wins and 2 seconds from just 4 attempts and should be tough to beat. Spirit Esprit has 5 wins from 22 starts and looks the danger. He finished nearer last than first at Doomben though and will need to put that behind him to figure. Bangers And Mayo has 5 wins from 20 starts and ran well enough in second at Yeppoon last time. He needs to drop his head to see out his race though as has been racing too keenly recently. Nuremburg Castle is talented but doesn’t always channel it in the right direction.
